Hello everyone,
My name is Vitali Konovalov and I am really excited to be part of the Estonian team at Waldec Group as the new technician. I look forward to meeting and getting to know all my coworkers and customers.
Here’s a little bit about me in a nutshell. As far as I can remember since childhood, I have been interested in technology. I was 11 years old when my father gave me a moped, and I had to disassemble and reassemble it to understand why it broke down the second week after we had purchased it. Technology has evolved a lot since then, and my knowledge has expanded significantly. I never lost my fascination for mechanics.
I am truly happy with the profession I have chosen. In 2013 I finished my ship engineering degree at the Estonian Nautical School. During my studies I worked as a motorman on various ships and continued working as one until 2017. From 2018 to 2021 I worked as a 3rd engineer on the passenger ship Star, and as a technician for Bobcat Balti OÜ when I was on shore. During this time, I also studied mechanical engineering at the University of Applied Sciences and graduated in 2021.
And now, at the end of 2021, I started working for Waldec. I am thrilled by this opportunity and I can’t wait to see what the year 2022 will bring!
