The recently concluded UTECH Europe 2024 event has set a historic attendance record. The first UTECH event was held in The Hague, Netherlands in 1986 and has since grown to be an international family of events, with UTECH shows in Singapore, China, Mexico, Brazil and Dubai (and a new event launching in India this year).
UTECH Europe 2024, which was held at MECC Maastricht, welcomed a record 10,366 attendees between 23-25 April. A truly international event, attendees came from 93 different countries, and over 220 companies and organisations exhibited at the event.
Waldec Group has been attending every UTECH Europe event since the 1990’s. This year we were seven persons from Waldec at UTECH. Our staff welcomed our new and potential customers to the stands of Covestro Elastomers and REPI, our supplier for high performance liquid colors and additives for thermoplastics and polyurethanes
As Waldec Group celebrates its 35th anniversary this year attending UTECH felt extra special. It was the perfect occasion for announcing yet another milestone for the Waldec Group. Due to the rapid economic growth in South East Asia, Waldec is establishing itself in the region, creating Waldec ASIA for Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Laos, and Singapore. It was a pleasure to welcome our first Asian colleague, Ms. Vihatsana Chounthavong, Electric Engineer from Laos to the UTECH exhibition.
